Our Ministries
Walk in a manner worthly of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work.
Colossians 1:10

WORSHIP Ministry
Joe Johnson, Pastor
Joseph Johnson grew up in Northern California where he became a Christian at age fourteen. Since then, he's had a call from God to minister to those in darkness, bringing them into the light of Jesus Christ. He says he is here "to know Jesus and make him known." Joseph earned his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He and his wife, Jayna, enjoy the great outdoors, religious documentaries, studying Latin (Salvēte omnēs!) and raising up their three children in the Lord. Joseph eagerly serves as Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church and prays he may honor the Lord in all that he does, from grace until glory.
MUSIC Ministry
Karin Lyle, Director
Classically trained on piano, harp and violin, Karin Lyle joyfully leads worship service and special occasion music at Covenant Presbyterian Church. She also hosts a Monday night music jam at CPC that is open to the public. Karin cheerfully demonstrates her love of God through her musical gifts and hospitality.

TEACHING Ministry
James Lyle, Ruling Elder
Adult Bible Study normally begins with a corny joke, leading into a verse by verse study of Scripture led by Jimmy Lyle. A second-generation Elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Jimmy has naturally stepped into the role of his late father, Jack Lyle, one of the founding Elders of CPC. Both gentlemen are highly respected for their teaching and study skills.
MISSIONS Ministry
Rebecca Russell, Director
Covenant Presbyterian Church is committed to diligent prayer and financial support for our missionary families. One of our missionary families is Bruce and Pam Sinclair. Bruce and Pam currently serve in Kapchorwa, Uganda. Their mission is to create seminaries, which create pastors, which create churches, which create disciples. They delight to care not only for the spiritual needs of East Africians, but also for their physical and relational needs.

OUTREACH Ministry
T. Ross Owen, Ruling Elder
Covenant Presbyterian Church values the opportunity to reach out to our local community and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of our outreach ministries is Radiant Reflection. Our mission is to provide reflective clothing such as hats and vests to homeless pedestrians. It’s estimated that thousands of homeless pedestrians are killed or injured by vehicular traffic every year. Our goal is for homeless pedestrians to be safely seen. For more information or to make a donation, visit RadiantReflection.org.
